With so many fun-filled kids' clubs available on Privilee, it can be difficult to pick which one to go to with the little ones. Mum of three, Cindy from LilOneOfTheAshes, shares her insights on the best kids’ clubs for kids aged eight and under.
Popsicle Kids’ Club is located at Taj Exotica, in a standalone building that is just a short walk from their shaded playground and kid's pool. It's a really cute and colourful kids’ club, there is a little soft play on the left-hand side as you walk in, a section in the middle for arts and crafts, plus other table activities, and a separate room for toys.
The team get the kids involved in lots of interactive play like charades, musical chairs, and musical statues. My kids have spent many afternoons there and have had so much fun with other kids. I’m always surprised at how much running and dancing they can do!
During the afternoon, face painting is available and later on, they sometimes have activities like bracelet making, glitter mask making, and playdough. Basically, all the stuff that we as parents dread to do at home because it's just so messy. Now you have a solution, bring them to a Privilee kids’ club instead! Smart parenting, the Privilee way.
On the weekends, during the winter months, the team at Popsicle takes the kids to play beach games. There's also Zumba, karaoke and movie nights - endless activities to entertain them!

Junior Jungle Kids Club at Habtoor Grand is a short walk from the main hotel building, it’s located to the right of the pool. We always bring the kids' scooters when we go there so that they can scoot. Their kids' club is a gated area with a shaded playground and an indoor kids’ club itself.
Inside Junior Jungle Kids' Club is perfect for quiet time, colouring, TV and toys. The really exciting stuff is all of the other activities that happen outside!
I have taken my eldest to tennis lessons at their tennis court. It's nothing serious, (more so the fun of trying to hit a tennis ball), but it's brilliant for little kids. The team at Junior Jungle also take the kids to the hotel kitchen for pastry lessons and spa time for kids. Imagine this is all included in our Privilee membership!
Throughout the winter months, they have a movie night set up on the grass lawn outside with complimentary popcorn and juice. It’s perfect if you have spent a day at Habtoor Grands’ pool, the family can just chill on beanbags for a bit before heading home.
Amura Kids’ Club at Sofitel Dubai The Palm is a lovely two-storey kids’ club with a shaded outdoor playground and a shallow toddler pool area. The area is completely gated off, and you are welcome to drop off kids ages 4-12. They can stay there for three hours with your Privilee membership - isn't that fantastic? Three hours of freedom for mummy and daddy!
The ground floor level has two areas - one suited for toddlers with toy cars and trucks, animals, megablocks, and puzzles. The other has a large SmartScreen which kids can draw on and they often play dance videos and get the little people involved - super cute. There are also a few other smaller SmartScreen stations with puzzles and games which my kids always love to use.
Don't forget to go upstairs, there's a huge multi-storey soft play. For safety reasons, it is only for kids aged 5-12 years old, or if your little one is a tall one - above 105cm - they are welcome to go up. We still bring the young ones to the lower part of the soft play - it's fun for them to run around and get involved.
For quiet time, there's a Playstation and TV room tucked away in the corner.
Amura Kids’ Club has an activity schedule - they do lots of arts and crafts like making rose flowers, friendship cards, leaf art painting and more. There are endless ways for them to be occupied when they visit.

Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah
Coco Kids’ Club at Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah is located inside the main building, on the same level as the pool and beach. We have spent a lot of time here over the last few years, thanks to our Privilee membership. In particular, my girls have spent many afternoons creating artwork, like masks and flower making, and other crafts.
It's a really nice space, with a ball pit in the corner, a foosball table for the older ones, an arts and crafts corner, and lots and lots of toys for the little ones. Coco Kids’ Club also has a separate area for PlayStation, TV and books.
When there are a lot of kids at Coco’s, the team gets everyone together for interactive games such as dance challenges, follow the leader and musical games. Great fun for them and a guaranteed way to tire them out before you leave!

Do take note that all these hotel kids’ clubs tend to update their timetable on a monthly basis, and sometimes on a seasonal basis. There are more indoor activities in the summer and when the good weather comes, more activities are introduced outdoors, which is great for the kids.
Check in with the team on their latest timetable - you never know what new activity they have added in! It keeps it fresh and exciting for the kids, which means we as parents can be happy as well as take some time for ourselves, or join in the fun with our little ones.
