Searching for exciting activities and things to do with your kids? Look no further!

Mum of three, Cindy, from Lil One Of The Ashes, has put together a ‘Cheat sheet to Privilee’ing with kids’. These are a few of Cindy’s favourite Privilee spots, guaranteed for endless fun, laughter and good times with the whole family. Oh, and the best part? The kids will have burnt so much energy, they might even fall asleep on your way home!

Just Splash, Splash Park at JA Beach Resort

JA Beach Resort’s splash park, Just Splash, is a great one to tire the kids out. There are water slides as well as aqua tubes for the little ones to slide around in. My kids absolutely love the large soaker bucket, tipping water all over the kids for an extra splash of excitement. My kids like to stay until the very last second and run away squealing when it starts to tip!

The splash park has a height restriction, which is a minimum of 1.1m. That’s the average height of a five-year-old, or if you have a very tall and brave four-year-old – they can join in!

Right next to Just Splash, you will find Sand Bar, the perfect spot to chill. Enjoy a cocktail and a bite to eat while the kids are playing in Just Splash! Privilee Members plus up to five guests get 20% off the total bill at Sand Bar.

Pirate Boat Aqua Zone at Doubletree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island

If you make a day trip out of Dubai, take the family to Doubletree by Hilton Resort & Spa on Marjan Island. They have a huge Pirate Boat Aqua Zone with slides, splash buckets, sprinklers and fountains. It is open from 9am to sunset so that’s an entire day to wear them out!

A great thing for parents is there are chairs scattered all around the aqua zone so mum and dad can sit and rest, while the little ones run around having the time of their lives.

There is also a very cute fruit-themed giant inflatable bouncy castle next to the Pirate Boat Aqua Zone. If they still have enough energy and want to jump, bounce and roll around, head here for a bit!

Splash Pad at Fairmont The Palm

Next to the family pool and a few steps from Falcon Kids’ Club is Fairmont’s very own splash pad area. There are water sprinklers and jets that would be suitable for kids up to five years old. The splash pad is gated all around, and parents can pick a sunbed outside the splash pad to monitor their kids if they don’t want to be inside (and catch some sun!).

There is also a shaded playground to the corner, next to Falcon Kids’ Club – should they wish to use that, and of course, you can always dry them up and pop them in the Kids’ Club for some playtime. Falcon Kids’ Club takes kids age three and above, for up to a maximum of two hours at a time.

Sinbad KiDS Club at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

Sinbad KiDS Club and its kids' pools are fabulous for kids, from toddlers to around seven years old. They have a really cute whale-shaped water feature with three slides, of which one of them is wide enough to fit two kids at a time! Their toddler pool a few steps away is shaded, which helps the little ones who might want to paddle in a cooler area.

The Kids’ Club also has an indoor area with a slide with a ball pit. The younger kids really enjoy this and it’s so nice mixing up your day with these kinds of activities! To the other corner, you will find a stage for the little ones who wish to belt out some tunes. So much fun to watch…

If mummy and daddy fancy a drink or two, drop the older kids (age four and above) in Sinbad KiDS Club and sneak over to Zenzi Beach - which is right next to it!

Privilee Members plus up to five guests get 20% off the total bill at Zenzi Beach. That way, mum and dad can relax with their friends, and the kids can have fun at the same time – win-win!

Slides and Zumba at Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection

One of our favourite Privilee spots for waterslides is Habtoor Grand Resort. The lower slide leads into a shallow shaded kids’ pool and is suitable for ages three to six. The great thing is that the kids’ pool at the bottom is only 0.55m deep. If you have toddlers who don’t want to follow their siblings up the slide, they can happily stay there with you, and play with the water features.

The higher slide is strictly for confident swimmers, as you are not allowed to wear any floaties or life jackets coming down, and you end up in deep water! This is a fun one for older kids and adults. This area is not shaded, so make sure you’re wearing lots of sunscreen - trust me, the kids are going to spend a long time going up and down there!

Junior Jungle Kids Club offers Aqua Zumba at 11.30am every day at the main pool. My kids love dancing next to the instructor, and often all the other kids come and join in as well. It’s super fun, and so cute to watch, providing a nice break from all the water fun.

I hope you enjoy spending time with the kids at these Privilee spots! This is just five out of many more that would tire the kids out after school, or on the weekend when you take the family for a Privilee day.
