With so many amazing venues on Privilee, you might be yet to explore all of the cool activities that are available for kids!

Privilee Member and Mum of three, Cindy, from Lil One Of The Ashes has made it easier for you to plan your Privilee days with a round-up of ten thrilling activities to keep the little ones entertained!

Horse Riding at JA Beach Resort

The Jebel Ali Equestrian Centre in JA Beach Resort offers horse riding activities for kids, as well as adults. The minimum age for pony rides is three years old, and five years old for Riding Lesson Stable Management, and Swimming with the Horses. Yes, you heard that right – you get the opportunity to horse ride in the sea! It’s great for photos and creating unforgettable memories - the little ones absolutely love it.

Please note, these are chargeable activities, paid for directly to JA Beach Resort.

Pool and beach sports at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort

A great activity for older kids is the pool volleyball and water polo at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, which happens most afternoons in the main pool. In addition, there is also beach volleyball and football, so kids can easily spend an afternoon hopping from the beach to the pool – keeping active!

Meanwhile, younger ones will love the scavenger hunt and shell-collecting activities available at Tuk Tuk Kids’ Club! Check with Tuk Tuk’s for their current timetable before you head over.

Bird Aviaries and Animal Discovery Zone at JA Beach Resort

There’s more wildlife to discover at JA Beach Resort! Right at the entrance of the resort, you will find their Native Bird Aviaries and Animal Discovery Zone. Pop in for a visit with the little ones and you’ll get to see goats, tortoises and rabbits! And for an additional fee, you can even feed the animals.

There are also a few bird species at the back, including the Desert eagle owl!

Tip: Self-park on the left as you enter JA Beach Resort – it’s the parking for JA Palm Tree Court but is much easier to get to the Bird Aviaries and Animal Discovery Zone, which are right opposite.

Splash Pads at The Els Country Club, Fairmont The Palm and Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk

Splash pads are always an absolute winner with my three - they can’t get enough of running around, paddling and splashing the day away with each other.

Luckily for us Privilee Members, many venues offer splash pads! My three favourites are at The Els Country Club, Fairmont The Palm and Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk.

The Els Country Club has a splash area and playground right next to its kid’s pool, so they have plenty of options to keep them entertained and cool in the sun! The Green Room is also by the pool area and a great spot to end the day with a casual dinner, where Members save 15%.

If you’re Privilee’ing on Palm Jumeirah, Fairmont The Palm has a large shaded splash pad area with water sprinklers and jets, located just in front of Falcon Kids’ Club. The location is ideal, you can drop them in there whilst you take a break, and enjoy some water fun afterwards!

Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk is a brilliant Privilee spot for those who live down this end of town (near Wafi) with a splash pad next to the kid’s pool. Super convenient, and the perfect spot to spend an afternoon.

Water slides at Habtoor Grand Resort, Sofitel Dubai The Palm and Hilton Al Habtoor City

Take the adventuring-loving kids to the water slides at some of Privilee’s most loved spots!

Habtoor Grand Resort has two slides in its main pool. The lower one is suitable for younger toddlers, say age four and below, and older kids will love the higher one. Go ahead and join them if you want – mummy and daddies are always welcome!

Sofitel Dubai The Palm also has two slides in the kids’ pool, next to the beach. The water is deep here so make sure the little ones are in floaties.

Hilton Al Habtoor City has a small slide next to their kid’s pool. It's great for toddlers, plus it’s right next to their Kids’ Club which is always handy for the times that they are tired, and want to chill indoors.

Kids’ tennis and aqua Zumba at Habtoor Grand Resort

Habtoor Grand’s Junior Jungle Kids’ Club has a lot of fun activities for the kids. One of them is kids’ tennis where they take the little ones to the tennis court to practise their swing - super cute to watch! Their weekly activity schedule tends to change frequently, so keep an out for what’s on when you go.

They also have aqua Zumba at the main pool where an instructor brings the music on a speaker and guides a Zumba class. Although this is more for adults, it’s super fun for the kids as they can follow and dance next to the instructor on the ground. My girls love it! It’s only for half an hour but it’s a great workout and tires them out!

Karaoke, Zumba parties and disco nights at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa

For the kids who love to sing and dance, head to Popsicle Kid’s Club at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Palm Jumeirah.

There are Zumba parties, disco nights, and karaoke sessions in the late afternoons. All of these activities will hopefully get them tired and ready for bed when they get home!

Just Splash, Splash Park at JA Beach Resort

JA Beach Resort has a splash park, Just Splash, that is suitable for kids that are 1.1m and above. With water slides, aqua tubes with twists and turns, plus a large soaker bucket - it’s the perfect recipe for a thrilling day! Just Splash is also right by Pirates and Mermaids Kids’ Club, for when little ones want a break inside.

Just a few steps away from Just Splash is a splash pad suitable for the younger ones, under 1.1m. This area is shaded with fun water jets and tipper buckets. My youngest loves playing with the “stones” with water coming out of them.

Kid’s Movie Nights at Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah

Coco Kids’ Club at Waldorf Astoria Palm Jumeirah has a timetable with a lot of fun activities for kids aged between 4 - 12. Currently, once a week in the evening they have a movie night in their cosy movie room and guess what – complimentary popcorn is included!

Tip: Call beforehand to check Coco’s activity timetable as this often changes.

Watch the Dubai fountains from Palace Downtown

Bring the kids to Palace Downtown for an afternoon swim, and then watch the Dubai fountains from there! It’s much quieter, with an excellent view from the pool, and you can also enjoy a bite to eat (with 20% off!). You can also easily scoot from Palace Downtown, through Souk Al Bahar to Dubai Mall if you want to do some shopping with the little ones before heading home.

Enjoy! I hope your little ones love all of these activities as much as mine do!
