What’s so special about this venue:
Spacious pool with a swim up bar and waterfall bridge that makes for hours of fun. The big win here is for small kids as there is a shallow and shaded kids’ pool, plus a splash pad! Tons of sun loungers and super friendly staff make this one of our top picks for families.
Top tip before you go:
If you want to book one of the cabanas you need you pay extra and reserve these ahead. But this is an amazing spot to spend an entire day.

Intercontinental Festival City
What’s so special about this venue:
The glass bottom pool overlooking the marina makes for cool views and even cooler pictures. There is also a very shallow splash pad which is great for the littlest ones to enjoy the water.
We love the poolside dining and convenient kid sized tables, plus InterContinental has loads of little areas to make your afternoon feel more private - even if there are people around! The entire pool area is quite shaded and usually has a breeze so this is a great pool to visit during the hotter months.
Top tip before you go:
Pack a book for Mum and dad! This is one of the few resorts where we've been able to chill on a sun lounger while the kids safely play in the water.
