Hi I’m Tom, Privilee’s Art Director. I love using Privilee because it allows me to both switch off and stay healthy. Plus, exploring the membership gives me inspiration on creative ways to showcase all that Privilee has to offer to Members like you!
How do you use your Privilee membership to switch off?
I like to clear my mind by heading to The Waldorf or Kempinski on The Palm for a pool day, I also love to go for sundowners and dinner at Akira Back, W The Palm (the vegan dishes are amazing here) and with Privilee, I get 25% off my bill.
I feel Privilee gives you the opportunity to try different hotels, restaurants and activities as you know you’re always getting the best deal with food and drink discounts.
What is your favourite fitness venue, and why?
I like an early start to the day so I head to Fidelity Fitness in JLT in the morning as it’s a convenient, spacious, well equipped gym and covers everything I need for my weight training.
I generally focus on cardio outside of the gym by cycling but if I have free time on the weekend I will add an extra 30 minutes to my workout and hit the cardio machines whilst enjoying the floor to ceiling views across the lakes!
Can you give any other gym recommendations?
I would recommend the gym at Sofitel The Palm. It's kitted out with top quality equipment, specifically Kinesis machine’s which are great for resistance training and rehabilitation. You can also head to the roof-top, catch some sun and practice your tennis swing on the courts here, which Privilee Members have complimentary access to.
