Get ready for a fun-packed daycation!

Cindy from LilOneOfTheAshes popped over to Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah with her family one weekend. Here's what they did!

Palm West Beach is such a lovely spot to be with the family. The Hilton has recently opened its doors on Palm West Beach, and we were so happy to find out that they are now part of the Privilee family!

From Dubai Marina to Hilton Palm Jumeirah

It’s a very quick ten to fifteen minutes drive from our end of the Dubai Marina to the Hilton on Palm West Beach. Just hand your car over to the valet when you arrive, and off you go!

Top tip: Privilee Members have access to the Hilton Palm Jumeirah pool and beach from 8am. It's a good spot to pop over to after school drop off on weekdays! Do not forget to validate your parking ticket before you leave.

Lunch at Zing on the beachfront

We were all hungry when we arrived, so decided to head straight to Zing Beach Bar on Palm West Beach for a late lunch.

They have a kids’ menu called the Junior Gourmet Menu - which we appreciated as it had lots of healthy options including grilled seabass with roasted pumpkin (lucky!) and baked herb-crusted salmon with mashed potato - yum! Don’t worry, they also have the usual kids’ favourites like pasta, chicken nuggets and burgers!

While waiting for the food to come, the kids were scootering and running all around the boardwalk along Palm West Beach, and playing on the beach itself. There is so much space there for little ones - whilst keeping them within eyesight too.

Alternative family-friendly eateries at Hilton Palm Jumeirah include Jones the Grocer, situated next to Zing along the beach. There is also Claw BBQ which is on the second floor of the hotel. Members + 5 guests get 20% off the total bill.

Top tip: Privilee Members get 20% off the total bill when dining at Zing Beach & Pool Bar. Take note that drinks are served to your sunbed on the beach, however, food is only served at the beach bar.

Discover Pirate's Kids Club

When the kids had finished their food, we decided to take them to Pirate's Kids’ Club which was a very short stroll away from Zing Beach Bar. They played in the shaded outdoor playground for a long time before heading indoors to the actual kids’ club.

The indoor area is designed to look like a pirate ship - which the kids loved - with slides, and different areas for them to hide in. There is also a lego corner, video games for older kids, lots of toys and a quiet room for books which my eldest one really enjoyed.

Top tip: Pirate's Kids’ Club opens at 9am and shuts at 7pm all week. Drop-off is for three hours maximum for kids aged four years and above. However, younger ones are allowed inside with their parents or a Nanny. Privilee includes complimentary access for one Nanny per family.

Work up a sweat!

While I stayed in the kids’ club with the little ones, daddy went off to the Hilton's gym to burn off some calories. He loved that it was quiet (this was on a late Sunday afternoon) - and there was ample equipment to use, all brand new!

Top tip: Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah's gym opens from 8:30am to 10pm, and is located on the second floor. You will need to sign in with your Privilee Membership at the spa reception to use the gym.

Sundowners by the pool

My older two kids were quite happy in the Kid’s Club, so I took my youngest (two years old) to chill on the sunbeds by the pool. We shared a fruit platter and ice lollies from Zing, then went for a stroll along Palm West Beach at sunset. It’s so beautiful around this area and was the perfect end to the day!

Top tip: Zing has a happy hour between 3pm-5pm. Note that Privilee discounts do not apply to this menu, but it is applicable on their la carte menu.
