Privilee allows me to explore some of the UAE’s best pool and beach destinations, I would be lost without it! One of the best things is being able to go to places I wouldn’t think to visit or hadn’t heard of before, the app opens up so many possibilities.
Come along as I guide you through my five favourite daycation spots.
Soul Beach Dubai
Soul Beach is a Privilee go-to for my wife and me. We love trying places that are a little further out, and this has become one of our favourites!
Weekends here mean live DJs and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. We split our time between the shallow infinity pool and the comfy sun loungers on the beach, soaking in the sun and sipping on their signature drinks.
We will always have lunch or sundowners when we visit, depending on the time we arrive. The restaurant is located behind the pool and serves delicious Mediterranean food - the paella is a must! Kirsti and I have shared this with a few small dishes - it goes down so well with one of their refreshing drinks!
Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah
One of the things I love about this hotel is how easy it is for me to get to! Its prime location makes it a breeze to reach, nestled right at the entrance of The Palm. As a Privilee Member, I get to hit the gym here before soaking up the sun on the beach. Speaking of which, the beach at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah offers stunning views of the Dubai Marina skyline and plenty of space to unwind. And let me tell you about Zing Beach Bar - the perfect spot for lunch on the beach and drinks while I'm chilling. There's sometimes a BBQ which I will always take advantage off, with my 20% Privilee discoint.
Al Habtoor Polo Resort
When I need an escape from the city buzz, Al Habtoor Polo Resort is my sanctuary. Surrounded by lush greenery and serene polo fields, it's like stepping into another world. The main pool is flanked by sun loungers and cabanas, perfect for lounging with a book or podcast. As the temperatures rise, my wife and I plan to spend more time here—the shallow pool depth is ideal for summer dips and tanning. Don't forget the swim-up bar, where we can cool off with refreshing drinks without ever leaving the water!

Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa
For a change of scenery, we head to Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa. It's about an hour and a half drive away, but trust me, the journey is worth it for the unique experience it offers. Surrounded by serene dunes, the resort exudes tranquility, with historical architecture adding to its charm.
The pool area was quiet when we visited, so it was perfect again for taking time out. We had some light snacks and drinks by the pool as we wanted to end our day at Terra Secca for dinner. Terra Secca is a casual restaurant serving Italian food, which as a Privilee Member I save 20% at. Imagine enjoying Italian cuisine with majestic Arabian horses grazing nearby!
Zenzi Beach
My wife and I like to Privilee at Zenzi Beach when we need a chilled day. Zenzi Beach is very relaxed and the menu is amazing! Alongside the beach area, Zenzi has a restaurant which we go to when we want a break from the sun and a bite to eat. When you go, make sure to try the salmon ceviche and guacamole.
