I have to say that switching up where I workout on a weekly and sometimes even daily basis, has made an amazing difference to the way I train. Here’s a list of my top three places to train on Privilee and why I love them:
Seven Gym, Al Manara Road
From its functional fitness and CrossFit area on the ground floor to the weights and cardio area upstairs, it’s safe to say you won’t get bored here. Their pink bars are more than fab and the equipment is all new and absolutely on-point. Not only do they offer the space to train in your own style, but also an array of complimentary group classes including dance, boxing, pilates, HIT training, Fitmums – just to name a few! If you’re in need of a shower after your workout they have incredibly beautiful facilities too.
Tip: Visit one evening and make sure you’re upstairs to watch the sunset whilst training from their cardio and weights section – it’s dreamy!
FitRepublik, Dubai Sports City
This gym literally has it all and it’s the biggest fitness facility in Dubai. The thing I love most is their Olympic weight lifting stations and you don’t have to be doing only lifts to use them either. I usually grab myself a spot if the gym isn’t too busy and get on with my HIIT training on them. The gym is always great and buzzing no matter what time of day you go. If group exercise is your thing, they also have a long list of classes on offer, not to mention the indoor lap pool if you feel like a swim!
Engine Health & Fitness, Jumeirah
Located in Jumeirah, this gym is awesome to get your sweat on! It has three floors as well as a separate ladies section, which is pretty impressive on its own! I love the ground floor area where you can go between weights and the free movement area (because you know I love a little HIIT in between my weight training!). They’ve recently renovated the entire space and I say good on ‘em!
