We’ve also tried the 2for1 buffet breakfast a couple of times, which went down a treat! The variety is huge, the children love the pancakes and me and my husband like trying a bit of everything. It’s only AED 155 for two - and under 12’s eat free so you really can’t go wrong.

Beachside dining
We save 20% on food and drinks here, so will always treat ourselves to a late lunch or snacks to tuck into on the beach - they do a mean tuna poke bowl!
Kayaking
The kids love hiring a kayak from the hotel (flash your Privilee app for 10% off), which I then paddle over to one of the Palm fronds opposite and back. I find I paddle harder when I know there's a nice glass of vino and a sun lounger waiting for me!
Late-night swimming
The pool at the Waldorf stays open until 8pm, which means we can enjoy the cooler evenings and the children love swimming in the dark when the lights come on, it feels really magical.
Convenience
On a boring but highly game-changing point, the hotel's underground self-parking is really handy for direct pool access - no need to traipse bodyboards and dripping wet kids through the fancy lobby, you can get in and out really quickly. See you there!
