Privilee has recently launched some amazing new family venues in Dubai, so of course we had to test them out with the kids and husbands.
Here is what we thought…
The Els Country Club
Best for: Families with younger kids.
Highlights: We LOVED the gated shallow baby pool, mini splash area, playground and poolside cocktails.
This is the perfect venue to let dad (or mum) play a round of golf and then meet the family at the pool. It’s got a super friendly vibe and feels very family-orientated, which is perfect for us.
Top tip: Arrive early to grab one of the few sun loungers in the kids’ pool area. If you have small kids this is key as it means mum and dad can actually sit back and relax a bit (depending on the age of your kids of course!).
Don’t miss: The Saturday Brunch at The Pangolin. Privilee Members save 15% and it makes spending an entire day here even more fun and very economical. Unlike other brunches this one starts anytime you want between 12-8PM.

Taj Exotica Resort and Spa
Best for: The whole family - this resort has something for everyone!
Highlights: Taj Exotica has a beautiful beach with a chic white theme and one of Dubai's best backdrops - it’s very instagrammable!
There is also a huge main pool with lots of space to roam around and plenty of sun loungers available. For kids, they’ve got football goals and a variety of toys available to keep them entertained. Our personal favourite is the swim-up bar which extends to both sides of the pool, and Privilee Members save 25% at!
Top tip: Stay for sunset and enjoy amazing views of The Palm.
Don’t miss: The shaded kids’ play area - it’s full of fun games and activities like bow and arrow, tick tack toe and hoola hoops. There are also tables set up with backgammon, to play against your partner! This was honestly such a great way to keep the kids’ occupied throughout the day.
