Maximise your membership as you work on your health and fitness

We caught up with Yoga Instructor and Personal Trainer, Tranquil_Steph and asked her to share some advice on how to get into great habits with the help of your Privilee Membership.

Here is what Steph has to say!

I couldn’t be without my Privilee membership, it’s proven invaluable when it comes to staying active in between meetings, client PT’s and travelling across Abu Dhabi for work.  

The variety of options across the city makes it super easy and convenient for me to pop into different gyms and pools, depending on my location and what my day looks like - which is different everyday!  

A few ways I use my membership to keep fit, and hopefully inspire you too: 

Start the day with a morning Yoga practice on the idyllic beach at St Regis Saadiyat Island. Sometimes I want something a little more intense and I'll go to a Boxing Fit class at Adrenagy, I love it! It's a tough, high intensity class but super fun.

Try a weight and functional training session at Bodylines Gym, Saadiyat Rotana on Saadiyat Island. If you need some inspo, take a look on YouTube - there are lots of short workout videos to try. 

When I’m looking to stay active but keep it low-intensity, I enjoy long walks on the beach during sunset. Obviously Saadiyat Island is great for this, but if I am in the area, there are lots of lovely stretches of sand on The Corniche that I like to walk along - The St. Regis Abu Dhabi is perfect for this.

Work on your cardio by swimming laps at Marriott Al Forsan 50m pool. This pool is warmed to a perfect 30 degrees celsius temperature - something super important to bear in mind during the winter months!

Take time out at Saadiyat Beach Club - ensuring you have time to yourself to switch off is just as important as being active! This beach club is one of my favourites for relaxing and also to take visitors, it’s so beautiful. When I spend a day here, I’ll always have lunch by the pool as I get to use my 15% Privilee discount! My go to is a healthy kale salad but there are plenty of other fresh and healthy options so you can indulge without feeling sluggish afterwards.
