ou suggested, we listened! Here’s our new guide to booking a venue...


Get ready for a new experience when booking venues, because effective immediately, our booking process has changed for the hotels that require a pre-booking via our app. The changes have been made based on your valued feedback and suggestions, so we hope you love the new process!

Here’s everything you need to know…

1. WHAT ARE THE CHANGES TO THE BOOKING SYSTEM?

From Wednesday 29th July, we are moving to a ‘same day booking’ model for pools and beach clubs. Spaces will be released from 7am for all venues which require you to pre-book. From Thursday 30th July, you will be able to book an AM or a PM slot guaranteeing you a space for arrival before or after 2pm

2. WHY ARE WE MAKING THEM?

We’ve listened carefully to your concerns and understand that advanced bookings and the number of no shows and late arrivals is affecting our member experience.

Making these changes significantly increases our booking capacity across these venues and enables you to plan your day accordingly. 

3. HAVE WE INCREASED CAPACITY?

Yes. We have purchased additional memberships across our venues taking into account the increased demand with few people travelling this summer. However, due to the current climate, capacity is occasionally a challenge in peak hours due to operating restrictions at our venues too.

We are also constantly adding new venues to our portfolio and have some amazing launches coming soon, as well as some old favourites coming back online as the hospitality sector gradually re-opens.

4. WHAT ADDITIONAL CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE?

Hotels are experiencing increased demand for staycations and daycations also, and with COVID-19-related restrictions still in place, overall capacity is affected. 

5. I HAVE A BOOKING FOR TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY – IS THIS STILL CONFIRMED?

Yes. All bookings for Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th July are unaffected.

6. CAN I BOOK FOR THE EID WEEKEND TONIGHT?

No. Bookings for Eid can be made ‘same day only’ and you will need to select an AM or PM arrival time.

7. IF I BOOK AN ‘AM’ ARRIVAL SLOT, DO I HAVE TO CHECK OUT BEFORE 2PM?

No. You can stay the whole day if you’d like!

8. IF I BOOK A ‘PM’ ARRIVAL SLOT, CAN I ARRIVE BEFORE 2PM?

No. If you wish to arrive before 2pm, you will need to book an AM slot.

9. HOW CAN I MAKE A BOOKING FOR MY WHOLE FAMILY?

Simply ensure your accounts are linked in the ‘Me’ section of our app. 
Select ‘Me’, then ‘My Family’, and choose to ‘Add Partner / Add a Child’. On booking, ensure all family members profiles are selected and book.

10. IF I MAKE A BOOKING, HOW DO I CANCEL IT?

Simply visit the ‘Me’ section in our app, click on ‘My Bookings’ and choose the booking you wish to cancel.

11. IF THE VENUE IS FULLY BOOKED, WHAT THEN?

As members check out or cancel, these spaces are released for other members to book so please check throughout the day if you only want to visit with a booking secured. 

12. DO ALL VENUES REQUIRE PRE-BOOKING?

No, many of our venues do not require a booking to access and have very generous capacity, including Atlantis The Palm, The Westin and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi. You can find the full list here.

13. WHICH VENUES REQUIRE IN-APP PRE-BOOKING?

We have a total of 11 hotels across the UAE that require you to book to access through our app before arrival. These are listed here.

14. ARE ALL VENUES PROVIDING ACCESS OVER THE EID HOLIDAYS?

Unfortunately not. We are working very closely to support our partners, but due to the current restrictions and the demand on regular hotel operations given the lack of travel options this summer, some of our partners are restricting access and others are limiting our excess capacity options. A full list of available venues will be kept updated here for Dubai here for Abu Dhabi but please note, this is subject to change based on late updates from the hotels themselves.

15. I HAVE A ‘WEEKDAYS’ ONLY MEMBERSHIP, CAN I USE THIS OVER THE EID HOLIDAY?

No. Weekends and public holidays are not included in this membership.

16. CAN I PURCHASE GUEST PASSES OVER THE WEEKEND?

We are expecting that all venues will be very busy with in-house guests over the holidays. We would recommend calling the venue directly to check whether this is possible.

17. CAN I TAKE MY OWN SNACKS & DRINKS INTO THE VENUE?

No. Bringing in outside food and drink is strictly prohibited at all of our hotels and they have the right to remove this from you. Please respect the hotels’ policies and do not take your own food and drink when Privilee’ing.
