Check out fun-filled activities recommended by Cindy, a Mum of three!

Searching for ways to keep the little ones entertained for the next few weeks before school starts? Here are my top tips and recommendations on how to make the most of the final weeks of school break, using Privilee!

Kid’s clubs and indoor activities

Sometimes my kids want to play indoors or take a break from the pool, and that’s when we make the most of the complimentary Kid’s Club on Privilee!

We have been to Falcon’s Kids’ Club at Fairmont The Palm a few times this summer, as we can drop all three kids there (hooray)! Our youngest is three years old, which is the minimum age for drop-off at Falcon’s Kids’ Club.

The friendly team here gets the kids to actively participate in games, musical chairs, and dances. There is also a mini gym if they want to swing about on the monkey bars or use the rock climbing wall. So much fun to be had!

Privilee Members get two hours of complimentary access for each kid at the Kids’ Club. If you would like them to stay longer, it is usually AED 85  per hour per child. Currently, Falcon’s Kids’ Club have a summer offer, until Sunday 3rd September, where it’s 30% off the hourly rate, making it AED 59.50. This rate also applies if you have a child aged between 18 months to under three years old.

For those of you with infants and toddlers, here’s Privilee’s round-up of ‘Privilee Kids’ Clubs with Infant Access’ for more great options.

Spend a day in Abu Dhabi

As summer comes to an end, it’s natural to want a change of scenery if you’ve spent a lot of time in the UAE! As we live in Dubai, we decided to spend a day Privilee’ing at The WB Abu Dhabi.

My kids LOVED it here. We arrived early and bumped into a few characters (Bugs Bunny!) before starting the day with breakfast at Sidekicks. More characters were roaming around here which was super fun and exciting for the kids, and there were plenty of options to tuck into. From crepes and pancakes to fresh eggs and cereal, everyone was very well fed - and we saved 20% with Privilee.

The main pool here is huge, and just behind it is a lovely kids’ club which has a soft play area, a games hub and a fun-packed activity schedule - including cooking classes! There was so much for them to try and do at this hotel, I would definitely recommend it to other parents that want to try a new Privilee spot, with great kids’ facilities.

Spa, lunch and pool day - with kids!

Combine some much-needed relaxation with family time before summer break ends and the whirlwind of school, playdates and after-school activities commence!

With your Privilee membership, you can drop the older kids in the Kid’s Club and pick them up after a lazy lunch or even a spa treatment, then carry on the day at the pool and beach.

We did just that recently at the spa at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort when my mum was visiting. It’s a beautiful, Thai-inspired spa with an aroma steam room, bamboo sauna and herbal bath - perfect for soaking away the holiday stresses! After the massage, we took a buggy to pick the kids up from Tuk Tuk Kid’s Club before heading to Crescendo for a buffet lunch (my favourite, and we save 25% with Privilee!).

To end the day, we had a lovely dip in the main pool, staying around the shaded jacuzzi area. The lovely thing about Anantara’s main pool is that a large area of it is around 0.6m deep, making it convenient for the younger kids who are not that confident in deeper water. It’s great for my little ones!

Here’s Privilee’s round-up of all Privilee spas and discounts.

Interactive family-friendly restaurants

Make the most of your extra free time (and enjoy not cooking!) by taking the kids to one of many family-friendly restaurants on Privilee.

We have been taking the kids to The Green Room at The Els Country Club in Sports City, after their gymnastics classes, which is located right next to FitRepublik – a fantastic gym on Privilee. Speaking of which, I have been sneaking off for a run in FitRepublik when the girls are doing their classes. Talk about properly utilising our Privilee Membership and my free time!

The Green Room has a special offer throughout summer called ‘Feast of Fun’ – where you pay AED 50 and get two complimentary arcade credits, one main course from the kids’ menu and all-day pool access. We obviously get pool access through Privilee, but this means it’s a fabulous offer to do with a non-Privilee members, as they get pool access and it’s a pocket-friendly deal.

In addition, Privilee Members save 15% on the total bill at The Green Room, including up to three guests.

Daycay outside of the city

Take the family on a road trip before school starts! A lovely family resort to check out is Intercontinental Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa, situated in the beautiful community of Mina Al Arab, RAK.

Noho Bar & Grill hosts a New York-themed brunch every Saturday – with a mini buffet area for kids. Planet Trekker’s Kids’ Club takes kids ages four and above, so you can drop the older kids there if you wanted some quiet time during brunch.

Check out 'A family day at Intercontinental Ras Al Khaimah Resort & Spa', for ideas on how to make the most of your day here! The kids' pool and huge turtle feature was a hit in our family!

Another gorgeous spot to visit outside of the city is Al Wathba, A Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa. It’s really got the wow factor here! The resort is stunning and super tranquil. My three loved the splash area of the pool and the fact that they could spot horses as we dined at Terra Secca - a very cute touch.

Not long to go before the kids are back to school! Enjoy the last few weeks of the school break with Privilee. Take a look at ‘Why Privilee is the ultimate solution for the school break’, for more tips!
