Central Abu Dhabi is located on Yas Bay Waterfront and buzzes with energy, perfectly capturing the NYC vibes thanks to its upbeat music, colourful lighting, bright interiors, and friendly team - you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into the city itself!
The atmosphere is lively, setting the stage for an unforgettable afternoon or evening, as you can hear cheering from the bowling, groups chatting and little ones exploring the arcade games. Whether you're looking for a fun evening, a fun-filled afternoon with family or a laid-back gathering with friends, Central Abu Dhabi offers an exciting and dynamic vibe that guarantees a great time.
Delicious eats and a diverse menu
When it comes to the menu at Central Abu Dhabi, prepare yourself for a mouthwatering adventure. The star of the show is undoubtedly their delectable burgers. I had the pleasure of savouring their signature Classic Burger, which boasted a juicy beef patty topped with melted cheese and truffle burger sauce - exceptional! Central Abu Dhabi offers an extensive selection of gourmet burgers, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. From vegan options to creative combinations, there's something to delight every palate, including kids’ options.
In addition to their outstanding burgers, Central Abu Dhabi's extensive menu also has a variety of other options. The venue offers a range of mouthwatering appetisers, salads bursting with freshness, and tantalising main courses. Their Deep Fried Halloumi and Mac n Cheese, are a must-try and perfect to have on the side or if you fancy sharing a few dishes. If you're in the mood for a light bite, their refreshing salads are the perfect choice, featuring an array of fresh ingredients and flavourful dressings. My wife had the Greek Salad and was very impressed with how fresh and flavourful it was, like something you’d get in the Mediterranean!
For kids, there is a separate menu, featuring the likes of pasta, pizza, burgers and other smaller dishes for them to feast on. We ordered the cheeseburger and chicken nuggets with fries for my son and daughter to share which was the perfect size for them both and went down very quickly! Normally fussy eaters, we had absolutely no complaints here and they both said it was the nicest burger they’ve had.
Unmissable desserts
When you come here, you have to order a dessert! They are absolutely incredible (and huge!) - a sweet tooth's absolute dream. From smores and ice cream to extravagant brownies and sticky buns, expect to see some very happy faces as you all tuck in to American classics! We decided to order one of the ‘Monstershakes’ and a dessert to share, which was the perfect amount on top of all the other food consumed! The Oreo Cheesecake and Brownie Mess went down a treat, alongside the Snicker-Doodle-Doo Monstershake - we will definitely be returning and ordering again.
The perfect destination for everyone
Whether you’re visiting Central for family fun or catch-ups with friends, the lively destination caters to all. I was with my two kids and wife but saw lots of other groups having what looked like a great afternoon.
With a state-of-the-art bowling alley and an exciting array of arcade games, there's never a dull moment. The arcade has a retro look and feel to it, lots of neon lights, classic games and music playing throughout - the kids loved spending time in here, with gaming credit bundles available. Check their website for more information as they sometimes have offers!
If you fancy challenging each other to a game of bowling, it’s priced at AED 50 per person, per game. There are four lanes available, and up to six people can play per lane - great for groups and families! The bowling alleys are surrounded by neon lights, graffiti art, and screens to show who’s winning (or losing!). This was an excellent activity for the whole family to enjoy in between food and drinks, so that the kids’ didn’t get restless and had something to look forward to.
