Rebecca & Megan from @just2mums share top tips for Privilee’ing!

Now that the weather is amazing, our Privilee memberships have never been more valuable! Do you Privilee with kids? If so, we’ve created our ‘mum's guide’ to some of our favourite Privilee spots with top tips and tricks for when you're Privilee'ing with the family.

Tip one: bring the nanny

RIVA Beach Club has paddleboards for rent - it's the perfect opportunity to ditch the kids for an hour and get some time to yourself. In fact, nannies are complimentary at lots of the venues meaning you can grab a quiet few minutes or simply have an extra pair of eyes and hands to help you out whenever it’s needed most!

Tip two: get there early!

There are many pools that open early, we love going to RIVA and Fairmont The Palm because they open at 7am. A lot of resorts tend to get busy in the afternoons, so we highly recommend going out for an early morning session! Here is a list of hotel pools and beaches that open early.

Tip three: go for shallow shaded pools

When going with small kids, having a separate shaded kids’ pool can be the difference between a relaxing day and a stressful one. We love the shallow, shaded pools at Waldorf The Palm, RIVA and Dubai Polo Club. Check out more here.

Tip four: enjoy lunch

Palm Avenue is an ideal poolside spot at Waldorf the Palm and Privilee members get 20% off! The poke bowl is amazing for mum and dad, and the kids can share a portion of chicken tenders, the perfect size for two small kids to dig into. If you order two portions, we always ask for one with chips and one with cucumbers and then split the sides between the kids. It means everyone gets a bit less chips and a bit more veggies!

Tip five: walk on the wild side!

Kids love animals, so any resort that has a few furry (or scaly) friends is a firm favourite. There are always horses to see at Dubai Polo Club and peacocks running around JA The Resort.

Tip six: bring your camera

One of the most Instagrammable Privilee spots has to be the Dubai Marina skyline from Fairmont The Palm’s beach. It makes a perfect ‘wish you were here’ photo to send to the grandparents!

Tip seven: don't forget the buckets and spades

The beach at Waldorf The Palm is great for finding crabs or starfish and the rocks at DoubleTree Hilton are always loaded with sea creatures too! The kids love it.

We’ll see you at the pool!
