Hi, I’m Line! I am the Partnership Executive at Privilee and have worked here for about 5 years. I particularly love exploring the new pools and beach clubs - every weekend is spent somewhere different, most recently me and my colleague, Natascha, spent a day at the stunning InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Resort.

The serene setting…
If you fancy a moment to yourself, head to the hammocks by the beach! Perfect for a little change of scenery, and to make you feel like you’re on a tropical island somewhere exotic. I love how peaceful it is, the beach is huge so you won't be disturbed.
Tip: bring your favourite book and have an afternoon read, or try meditating for 20 minutes!
Working out before heading to the pool
I like to earn that indulgent lunch and drinks by the pool later in the day, so the brand new gym here is perfect for a little workout pre pool/beach day.
All of the equipment is brand new TechnoGym and there is even a lovely private studio, which would be great for a little yoga or stretching session.
Eating like a QUEEN!
We had lunch at Sha Sha Pool & Beach Bar, and loved the variety of options available on the menu. We went for Quesadillas & Greek salad, it was absolutely delicious and the perfect combo, plus not too heavy for when you’re lying by the pool/in the sun!
Side note- for the health conscious, Sha Sha displays the calorie counts of their salads and poke bowls, so you can easily stay on track. And of course, don’t forget you get 20% off with Privilee.
Staying hydrated!
Did I mention that there is complimentary water by the pool? Hydration is key during these hot months, so this is most definitely a huge benefit during summer.
Cooling down with cocktails
If, like me, you always need an afternoon beverage whilst you’re tanning, I 100% recommend to grab what they call a “Hugo” from the pool bar menu. This refreshing cocktail contains a hint of elderflower, mixed with prosecco and soda - it’s perfect for a hot summer day and goes down far too easily. Shisha is served by the pool too, win!
I hope you enjoyed my review! I can’t recommend InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah enough. If you want to leave city life behind for the day, this is the perfect way to do so. There are many other Privilee spots to explore in the Northern Emirates too, such as:
